Flavor in Dayton

Every aspect of the experience was top notch - the staff, the service, the food, the decor, and the vibe. There is nothing more enjoyable than eating food with flavor and seeing smiles from guests and staff alike. We will go back regularly.

Awesome food, service, and atmosphere

I read about The Olive on the DDN. My fiance and I decided to go tonight for our 3 year anniversary. We picked out a nice bottle of wine and went at about 9:30pm on a Friday. Our waitress, Cassidy, was wonderful. She knew about all of the dishes and had great recommendations. I got the grilled cheese and fried leeks and my fiance got the special which was muscles and scallops. It was AWESOME! Cassidy recommended some desserts to us and we tried the chocolate tort with a whisky/pecan ice cream. It was delicious. Since you can BYOB, we spend less than $40 before tip. We will definitely be back again.... and again... and again.

Got it right!

I have been twice and both times have been great! The atmosphere is very relaxed, the patio is beautiful, and the owner personalizes the experiences by greeting every table (atleast that I saw) and telling everyone a little bit about her concept. The food was the star of the visit. I highly reccommend the grilled cheese or the chicken salad.
